Visitation Policy

For the safety and wellbeing of all of our puppies, we do not allow in-person visits before they are vaccinated. There is a real risk that diseases could be introduced into our home, and unvaccinated puppies are especially vulnerable to viruses and bacteria.

In the best interest of our puppies and adult Boxers, we take great care to prevent the transmission of harmful diseases. We take every precaution to ensure our puppies are not exposed to dangerous bacteria that may be carried on shoes or even hands. Viral diseases like Parvovirus are easily spread by fomites-objects such as doorknobs or pet fur that can become contaminated with the virus. Beyond Parvovirus, other diseases and bacteria can linger on shoes for days, picked up anywhere dogs may have been, including parks, pet stores, rest stops, and parking lots.

Whether you’re a breeder who follows a different protocol and allows in-person visits and have never experienced an issue, or you’ve purchased from one who permits visits when the puppies are just days old, there are absolutely no exceptions to our policy.

Now, imagine if we allowed visitors. If just one visitor unknowingly carried paramyxovirus (distemper) or adenovirus from their own dog—one they didn’t realize had been exposed—the disease could be transmitted to our unvaccinated puppies. In such a case, the outcome would likely be fatal for the entire litter.

While this may seem like an extreme scenario, it’s more common than you might think. We are simply not willing to risk the health and well-being of any of the puppies.

We’re happy to hop on a video call with individuals who’ve filled out our questionnaire.
